Rebekah Iliff founded Smart Girls Consulting in January 2007 after spending over 10 years in the entertainment industry. Recognizing a need for personal time with clients, ethical standards, and affordable prices, she set out to fill a niche by offering quality marketing and communications services for a fraction of the market price. To date, she has served over forty-five entrepreneurs, artists, small business owners, community organizations, and non-profits across the United States.
With her background as a professional ballet dancer, and a BA of Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago’s prestigious College of Arts & Sciences, Rebekah combined her knowledge of the arts with her social personality to become one of Chicago’s favorite “it girls.” She often contributed event profiles and interviews to publications including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Scene, Fashionista.com, Today’s Chicago Woman, Red Eye, Red Streak, Factio-Magazine, WWD, and Chicago Social. In the spring of 2004, she was featured on FOX as the creator and hostess of one of Chicago’s longest running “girl’s night out” fundraising and networking mixers, CHICK FLICK. Rebekah was selected by Zagat’s to serve on a marketing and public relations panel with other restaurant notables that included Charlie Trotter and Richard Melman in October, 2005 at the Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago. In November 2006, Rebekah was featured in Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the leading young business women in the Midwest.
